Hi, gang!
As I look around this site, with its sidebars and numerous options, I feel as though I’m either deep in a forest with nothing but trees around me, or in an urban area with information and traffic coming at me from every angle. Regardless, I’ve made up my mind to make some effort to become familiar with WordPress and figure out how to post comments and cartoons, eventually on a regular basis.
It’s my hope that this will become a platform for sharing my personal ideas and opinions for anyone who wants to take the time to check them out. I’d also like to get some of my cartooning work out there for more folks to enjoy. Once I know what the heck I’m doing, I’ll share this URL with my MMMers first, and then with whosoever might like to get a peek inside this 70-something-year-old head of mine.
I do want to say right upfront how grateful I am to son Kim for setting this all up for me. I’m embarrassed to say that it’s taken more than a year for me to get serious about exploring this program and learning its ins and outs, but I do feel that it could be a good outlet for me, even if nobody decides to visit.
Let’s see if I can get this to publish. If it’s successful, then I’ll see about sending more stuff to the ‘Net. My goal is to find a regular day to put things together. As some philosophic people tend to say, “The best days are still ahead!”
